This program is designed to provide students with the core knowledge, skills and abilities fundamental to academic success in health sciences and other high affinity programs by developing their knowledge and skills in communications, mathematics, human anatomy, biology, and organic/inorganic chemistry, so they are well prepared for the rigors of further study in the health sciences at either the diploma or baccalaureate level. The program also provides students with the opportunity to learn about potential careers in the health sciences, and to identify other programs focusing on the biological or chemical sciences that will enable them to achieve their career objectives.

Take the science, mathematics and English courses you need to be eligible for application to the Nursing – Collaborative BScN Degree program with Seneca College/ York University or the Practical Nursing program. Pre-Health students may not meet the admission requirements to other postsecondary institutions.
