Both theory and practice of heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, air handling, electricity and control systems are taught. Emerging renewable energy technologies are highlighted. Energy efficiency principles are applied to all studies. Building systems software training is included. Practical hands-on experiences exist throughout the program.

As a Building Systems Engineering Technician (BTS) graduate you’ll be able to join the operations team of some of the most advanced buildings in the marketplace, aware of the environmental and energy impacts of your operating decisions. Your skills can be applied in energy auditing, controls calibration and maintenance, or a host of other operations and maintenance roles in the properties and buildings sector.
