Course Description

On this course you will gain the knowledge, techniques and practical skills for a successful career as an economist or financial business analyst in the government or not-for-profit sector. You will graduate with a broad knowledge and specialist expertise in economic, financial and business analysis from an international perspective, preparing you for a role with skills in management, critical thinking and analysis. This course will provide you with the practical experience, critical thinking, management skills and industry contacts to have a successful career in commercial business, a global blue-chip company or an entrepreneurial sector, or to start up your own business. You will learn the theory and how to apply this to the real world through the work placement scheme, visits by experts from the world of business, government and other higher education institutions, and the insight provided by our experienced staff. Our links with leading companies in finance, manufacturing and services will enable you to combine your classroom-based learning with practical input from professionals.
