The uniqueness of this degree is that it is offered from within the Social Sciences and is developed within the framework of tourism for sustainable development. Graduates of this degree will enter the workforce with knowledge of the wider tourism system, policy issues relating to tourism and events, and a wide understanding of the nature of socio, cultural, environmental and economic impacts of tourism and events.
