A wide range of disciplines are available for study in the context of animal production science, including anatomy, aquaculture, bacteriology, biochemistry, biosecurity, embryology, epidemiology, food quality, histology, immunology, nutrition, parasitology, pathology, pharmacology, physiology, toxicology, and virology. An Honours qualification of at least 2A is normally required for admission to higher research degree study.
