MBIOMS INTEGRATED MASTERS IN BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES

Course Description

Gain a thorough understanding of the study of the human body at the molecular and cellular level and study disease pathology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, microbiology and clinical biochemistry. Through the work you will undertake in our laboratories, you will acquire an in-depth appreciation of the workings of the human body and of the rapid technological advances being made in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. In your final year you can choose to focus your studies in a specialist area, selecting from Advanced Medical Microbiology, Cellular Toxicology, Molecular Toxicology, Applied Biotechnology and Mechanisms and Molecular Aspects of Immunopathology, before embarking on an extensive research project aligned with your specialism and expertise within the course team.
