Designed for developing graphic artists, our course allows you to develop your own approach to the study of graphic art and design through a combination of brief-led and self-initiated projects. You will have the opportunity to sample a wide spectrum of disciplines - from design for print to illustration and from photography to typography, animation and the moving image. This will allow you to find your strengths and your own style in response to communication problems.

You may go on to work in a design studio but in an increasingly visual world, more industries are finding a purpose for graphic design - from developing online content to film, from voluntary arts organisations to advertising, from fashion design to architecture and television.
