Our course concentrates on how the human body functions in health, how different drugs are used for the treatment of diseases and what effects they have on the human body.You will be shown how knowledge of pharmacological principles can be used in the development of drug products which are of potential benefit in treating disease. Through the study of human physiology you will develop a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the ways in which disturbances to homeostasis can relate to illness.
