This course enables you to care for people with acute and long term illness at home, in hospital and in the community. You will learn to lead and coordinate care for sick and injured adults, nursing them back to health or end of life whilst working alongside those in related healthcare professions including physiotherapy, social work and osteopathy. The profession is physically, intellectually and emotionally demanding, however we will prepare you for this extremely rewarding career with supportive healthcare placements - which will constitute 50% of your course. Eligible applicants can apply for a means tested bursary and to have their fees paid. Please visit NHS Student Grants for more information.
