Civil engineering involves the design and construction of most of our basic infrastructure, and protection of the surrounding environment. This course aims to prepare students to work as a civil engineer in the design, construction and maintenance of buildings, roads, dams, water supply systems, railways, airports and other infrastructure projects. It features studies in management as well as civil engineering, and gives students practical experience through project work and fieldtrips. It also offers industry-based learning scholarships (three options available), and an extensive range of supporting scholarships. Please note that this course is offered on our Bendigo campus and will also be introduced to the Melbourne campus from 2014, subject to course approval.
