The Bachelor of Computer Science with Honours degree requires the completion of 120 credit points over one year of full time study. Students undertake a research project, across both CSE5TSA and CSE5TSB that takes the equivalent of eight or nine months of continuous work under the supervision of a member of staff. In the first semester, a literature review is written up and submitted as a hurdle requirement for the subject.

Honours graduates are eligible to apply for higher research degrees.
