Doctor of Clinical Sciences (Professional Doctorate)

Course Description

If you are an experienced practitioner in the health professions or other graduate, this course will enable you to further develop your expertise and undertake research in professional settings. The Doctor of Clinical Science consists of both coursework (one third) and research (two thirds) elements. Through your research and thesis, you must demonstrate a substantial body of knowledge at the frontier of a field of work or learning, including knowledge that constitutes an original contribution of direct relevance to your profession. First year comprises compulsory and elective coursework subjects designed to impart skills and knowledge that will assist you in conducting your research. In addition to your meeting the entry requirements outlined below, your acceptance into the Doctor of Clinical Science program will be subject to the availability of appropriate facilities and supervision in your chosen field of study.
