This two-year Ontario College Diploma program provides the skills necessary for students wishing to enter the workforce in the live entertainment industry. Through both practical application and classroom theory, students will develop skills using the technologies of theatre production, with emphasis on lighting, sound, multimedia and properties. To enhance these skills the students will also learn a range of disciplines including, networks, properties, scenic painting, rigging, special effects, design communications, theatre and art history and project management.

Theatre Arts - Technical Production graduates will have the opportunity to obtain employment with theatre and production companies worldwide, as backstage technical support, or as team members in independent productions, and design and production assistance across all media. Graduates may also work with companies who provide support for other aspects of the live performance industry including conventions, product/service demonstrations, live music performances, independent productions, film and television and multi-media.
