Business Administration - Accounting is a three-year Ontario College Advanced Diploma program (laptop required). The program curriculum covers advanced topics in accounting with a focus on management functions and includes courses in auditing, financial management and controllership, cost and managerial accounting, and strategic policy and planning. A case-based approach is used across the curriculum to expose students to real-life scenarios and develop critical thinking skills. The program provides a number of credits that can be transferred to a professional accounting designation (e.g., CA, CGA, or CMA) and used toward a university degree. Many employment opportunities are available for graduates in industry, public accounting, and government where they will work in a variety of roles.

Graduates of Business Administration - Accounting are prepared to enter the accounting field in the public sector, the private sector (e.g., manufacturing, service industries and public accounting) as well as the not-for-profit sector. Graduates are suited to a variety of junior-level and intermediate-level positions, including junior accountant, intermediate accountant, accounting specialist, cost accountant, project accountant, assistant controller, accounts payable and receivable supervisor, and tax accountant.
