Of the many disciplines in engineering and technology, Manufacturing & Design Engineers have the vital task of solving society’s innovation and production tasks. Manufacturing & Design Engineers are involved in the design of the product and the efficient management of resources and technology to produce quality goods and services for society. A key role for Manufacturing & Design Engineers in advancing the knowledge economy will be to develop more innovative products resulting in a high value-added manufacturing sector.
