In this unique programme students learn to measure and image the physiological activity of the human body and to provide diagnostic information to Medical Staff. It is not necessary to have done physics prior to entry.

Most graduates find employment within the health service in Ireland, and to date employment rates have been good. There are also employment opportunities in the medical equipment area.
