Course Description

The Bachelor of Accident Forensics is a unique course designed to equip you with the skills to conduct and analyse accident investigations based on knowledge and techniques relevant to road, rail, air and industrial environments. The course has been developed in consultation with Australia's leading accident investigation professionals and organisations, and government authorities that inform public safety strategies, allowing you to develop up-to-date industry skills. Your education and training will focus on a variety of areas including accident phenomenology, investigation methods, forensic engineering, accident analysis and occupational health and safety. In addition you will develop skills to prevent the recurrence of accidents. The unique course allows you to carry out practical investigation exercises in a new, state-of-the-art crash laboratory at CQUniversity Bundaberg. You will also benefit from taking part in work placement with practising accident investigators, ensuring you graduate work ready.
