Course Description

The Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) is designed for graduates who have completed an accredited three year course in psychology, who wish to complete an accredited fourth year in psychology to become eligible for provisional registration as a psychologist in Australia. The course introduces students to applied and professional uses of psychology whilst they learn about professional ethics and develop an appreciation for the social and cultural contexts of psychological research and professional practice. Students also have the option of undertaking advanced research training, as well as the opportunity to conduct your own original piece of research, which in some cases may lead to publication in a professional journal.
