This one-year Ontario College Certificate program helps students meet the academic requirements needed to apply to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) at the University of Ottawa, including the collaborative program with Algonquin. Students develop time- management and study skills and determine if they have the interest, aptitude and skills required to pursue a career in nursing.

A General Arts and Science Ontario College Certificate or Ontario College Diploma demonstrates to employers, colleges and universities that graduates have the ability to learn at a postsecondary level, have enhanced skills in oral and written communication, can conduct research in a systematic manner, and are flexible and open to meeting new challenges.
