Our flagship programme, the BA (Hons) International Business will prepare you to compete for a wide range of job opportunities in UK and internationally. While gaining a broad understanding of business and the society in which it operates, you'll also develop essential leadership, management and communication skills and the global perspective you need to excel in business today. You can choose to focus on International Business on its own or combine it with specialist subjects to tailor your degree to fit your career aspirations. Students undertaking a specialism will study 50% of modules related to their area of specialism in years 2, 3 and 4 and will be awarded a Joint Honours in International Business together with their area of specialism. Note: languages are only offered as International Business 'with' Languages award rather than as a joint degree. If you wish to specialise, you will need to choose your area of specialism on application to GCU via UCAS. Depending on which specialism you choose, you may be able to change your specialism at the end of first year. If you wish to specialise in Languages, Tourism Management or Hospitality Management, you will begin your specialist modules in year 1.
