About Us

Sheridan College is a publicly-funded institution overseen by a Board of Governors, consisting of both appointed and elected representatives. The day-to-day administration of the institution is led by the President and CEO, and an Executive Team. Our mission is to advance public understanding, build and strengthen lifelong relationships and enhance philanthropy in support of Sheridan College. Sheridan College is one of Canada's premier polytechnic institutes and is dedicated to exceptional applied learning and graduate success. We are a leader in providing skills-based educational programming that integrates theory with application, preparing students for careers in visual and performing arts, business, community services and technical fields. Sheridan serves close to 17,000 full-time students annually at its campuses in Oakville, Brampton and Mississauga, Ontario. Sheridan Research is an integral component of Sheridan’s drive to become the premier polytechnic through innovative research and collaborative partnering that will be linked intrinsically to Sheridan’s academic programs, building expertise and focusing on creative problem solving. Sheridan has three campuses, two located in Oakville, Ontario and one located in Brampton, Ontario. Sheridan’s new campus in Mississauga, the Hazel McCallion Campus, is located in the city centre at the corner of Duke of York Boulevard and Prince of Wales Drive. Oakville Trafalgar is also a home for Theatre Sheridan. For decades, the Sheridan Bachelor of Applied Arts (Music Theatre - Performance) Program has enjoyed the reputation as the finest professional Music Theatre training program in Canada.
