The Chemical Engineering Technology - Environmental diploma program includes courses in: * Solid waste, air pollution and wastewater treatment * Environmental auditing * Environmental regulations and laws * Instrumental analysis and analytical chemistry * Design and operation of chemical processes

Chemical Engineering Technology - Environmental graduates work on teams that include chemists, engineers, researchers and scientists. Many go on to perform key functions in both government and industry in the environmental regulatory process. They work in laboratory, industrial and field settings, finding careers in areas such as: * Laboratories for environmental analysis, research and development, or quality control * Environmental enforcement * Operations of environmental and industrial processes * Technical service and sales for chemical supplies With experience, graduates may move to supervisory and management positions. The Chemical Engineering Technology - Environmental Program is nationally accredited by the Canadian Technology Accreditation Board. Graduates have completed all the academic requirements for professional certification with the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT). Additional requirements for certification exist and are established by OACETT. Graduates are also eligible for membership in the Chemical Institute of Canada.
