Course Description

You will learn through hands-on experience and from experts with links to the health sector, government and community about how to help a range of people in the community. This includes families in need, younger or older people, and people living with injury or disability. You will learn about how human services are provided throughout Australia and develop a clear understanding of the principles of social justice and empowerment in the sector. In your first year, you will take core subjects. In your second and third years, you will study areas such as welfare, community and family, disability and ageing. You will complete a professional practice placement in your final year.
