This unique and vibrant programme prepares you for the commercial dance sector. With emphasis on technical skills and performance experience, the course develops students for the commercial sector. Subject areas include: tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet and much more. Our teaching faculty include some of New Zealand’s finest and widely recognised professionals who put their energies into students, developing them to their utmost. So if becoming a versatile performer is what you are after, this is the course for you. On successful completion, students may apply to enrol in year three of the Bachelor of Applied Arts (Performing Arts) and create a body of work in their discipline. Auditions Group auditions for 2016 will be held on 10–11 October 2015 (Saturday–Sunday) at the Whitireia Performance Centre, 25 Vivian Street, Wellington.
