Career outcomes

We are an applied department, especially in our teaching. Employers tell us about their workforce development needs, and how how important experiential education is. All our incoming students are now required to have a structured internship, independent research, entrepreneurial activity, or education abroad experience before they graduate. This exposure to 'real-world' business has given our students a wonderful head-start in the workplace and an appreciation for the applied aspects of research for those who chose to continue an academic career.
