The five-year program requires five academic years with one summer of study. Upon completion of the program, students receive both a bachelor's and master's degree. All you need is a bachelor of science in the mechanical engineering field or a closely related discipline to be eligible for our one-year Master's of Engineering-Mechanical Engineering program. Evening and late-afternoon classes accommodate working professionals. Experience The Master of Engineering requires 32 semester credit hours beyond the undergraduate program. The curriculum consists of 18 credits in mechanical engineering, 3 credits in advanced mathematics, 3 credits in business-related coursework, and an 8-credit-hour design project.
