Electricity is the universal means by which we power our cities and homes, and electronics is the enabling technology that is present in every appliance we use. How we use electricity is a more important concern and the movement towards sustainability has brought about a greater need to find renewable energy resources.

Career outcomes

Employment Outcomes The graduates of this qualification will have analytical skills and solid hands-on skills to be utilised for the testing, modification, design and integration of hardware and software in complex electronics systems. Examples of employment are working as technical officers in the electronics industry and related areas like defence, mining, biomedical as part of electronics systems development teams. Note: Completion of a TAFE SA course does not guarantee an employment outcome.
