Advanced Diploma of Stage Management

Course Description

Arts and design industry activities are centred on visual communication, visual merchandising, photography and graphic design, fashion and footwear design, fashion retail, floristry, multimedia, screen and motion picture, radio and television, graphic reproduction and printing. Acting and dance subjects also fall into this category. TAFE SA qualifications in these disciplines can lead to careers in graphic design, commercial photography, multimedia development, screen and game art, graphic pre-press, printing and screen printing, binding and finishing, desktop publishing, photographic developing and printing, fashion design and marketing, as well as performance and production of drama and dance.

Employment Outcomes This qualification reflects the role of a stage manager. As such it reflects the role of individuals who analyse, diagnose, design and execute judgements across a broad range of technical or management functions and who have a wide range of specialised technical, creative or conceptual skills.
