Course Description

This four year full-time honours degree will enable you to develop the knowledge and skills needed to practise confidently and effectively within the constantly changing hospital and community-based environments, potentially within a management or research-based role. The opportunity to study for an additional year provides an opportunity to elect to choose to specialise in either Immediate Care of Acute Emergencies/Unscheduled Care or Contemporary Health Care Needs in the Community/Principles in Public Health Nursing. This will include a 12-week practice placement experience related to the chosen major elective route.
