The ACCESS Civil Engineering Technology program is for you if you are Aboriginal and do not meet the regular entrance requirements of the Civil Engineering Technology program. You can also choose this program if you are looking to complete your courses over a longer period of time. Upon completion, you will transfer into the first year of the Civil Engineering Technology program. You are provided with personal, academic, and financial supports when you enrol in this ACCESS program. Staff advisors are available to meet with you to discuss academic concerns and career options. Staff advisors are available to meet with you about any academic, personal, social, and financial concerns you might have. A set of Aboriginal guiding principles has been incorporated into the program model to ensure that the program is culturally appropriate and sensitive to the needs of Aboriginal students and the Aboriginal community. A cultural/spiritual advisor provides cultural and spiritual supports using traditional teachings and ceremonies.
