The Applied Accounting program is designed to provide you with the necessary skills to provide entry level accounting support. In addition to developing basic accounting and computer skills, the program includes courses in general business practices. While the program highlights accounting topics, emphasis will also be placed on: Mathematics Business management Communication Records management Business software To help your understanding of various principles, considerable time will be spent solving problems. You will be invited to attend an information session to help you understand the accounting profession.
