This course focuses on fashion-led product design to create products with enhanced end-user experience, conceptual appeal and commercial viability. The course places emphasis on branding, style and aesthetic, sourcing materials trend analysis and response and rapid prototyping experimentation. It combines the functional training of product design with the brand-focused conceptualisation of fashion artefacts, to create products that go beyond the hitherto narrow perception of fashion accessory product design.
