The Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in psychology is designed for the student who wishes to pursue the scientific study of psychology as part of a liberal arts education. It is also designed for students who wish to obtain a gradu­ate degree in psychology. Beyond the minimum course require­ments in psychology, the student takes courses in the liberal arts and in a foreign language in order to better understand the place of psycholo­gy in today's international community.
