This program comprises the Jewellery stream for the Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology. Designed for individuals who wish to continue to pursue or enhance jewellery careers. Concentrates on a hand-working skill base, while introducing technological aspects and promoting individual attainment within the industry. The program features the Jewellery Centre, a professional jewellery school where master craftsmen and recognised experts pass on their knowledge. NMIT also offers the Mechanical Engineering stream of the Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology through the Mechanical Manufacturing Department.

Graduates of this course may gain employment in the design and development of jewellery and precious metals production.
