Course Description

Shipping experts are in great demand, and must make tough decisions on a daily basis about the speed, cost, flexibility and safety of moving goods around the globe. Port agencies, ship operation companies, marine underwriters, cargo brokers and maritime publishers are just some of the businesses in which you may find an exciting and rewarding career as one of our Maritime Business and Logistics graduates. Academic staff have relevant industrial and academic backgrounds including sea-going and shore-based experience. Three possible start dates (January, May and September). Students have their own alumni association, PYNDA, the Plymouth Nautical Degree Association. This pathway is specifically designed to allow international students to reach their full potential in pursuit of a Plymouth University Maritime Business and Logistics degree. The pathway comprises of modules developed to ensure successful transition from international education systems to one of UK's leading universities.
