Our department teaches the application of modern physics needed to solve the most challenging problems in the world today such as replacing fossil fuels with renewable energy, developing nano-scale devices, or applying light to cure diseases. We offer four areas of study (called "streams") which include: • Nano- and Micro-device Engineering; • Nuclear Engineering and Energy Systems; • Photonics Engineering; and • Interdisciplinary Engineering (which combines aspects of the previous three streams). In addition to our regular 4-year degree program, we also offer the 5-year programs in Engineering Physics and Management, Engineering Physics and Society, and Engineering Physics and International Studies.
