Master of Public Health

Course Description

The MPH program includes a total of 44 semester hours, which can be completed in four terms. For full-time students, 26 of 44 hours are scheduled in the first two terms, thus students may have a very limited campus time commitment during the second year (one day per week). This enables students to pursue both local and distant practicum opportunities, as well as related employment. Our curriculum offers an extensive array of courses [course listing], which includes the foundation curriculum and two concentrations. The core courses address the five essential foundations of public health – those also required for CEPH accreditation – Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental Health, Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Health Services Administration.
