Course Description

Description The Department of Social Work offers a four-year program of study leading to the bachelor of social work degree (B.S.W.), which prepares students for entry-level generalist practice. The program includes both classroom courses and field practicum experience in local social service agencies. Required courses fall under five content areas: Human behavior in the social environment Social welfare policy and services Research Social work practice Field practicum
