BS in Business Administration with Management

Course Description

Students obtaining a degree in business administration are able to choose from 10 concentrations to prepare for a career in the field of their choice. Students also have the opportunity to complete the Master of Business Administration or Master of Public Administration degree with one additional year of study through the five-year MBA/MPA program. The Dahlkemper School of Business offers innovative courses to prepare students to become business leaders in the global economy. Three of the many course selections are: BCOR 240: Marketing in the Global Environment Students in this course will learn the process of creating and presenting a marketing plan by applying the strategic decisions of marketing, including capturing marketing insights, connecting with customers, shaping market offerings, delivering customer value and successfully growing the business enterprise. ENTR 310: Organizational Innovation An examination of where entrepreneurs get their ideas and discover different types of entrepreneurial opportunities will be studied. This course focuses on understanding the process of idea generation, idea evaluation and developing a comprehensive business plan. BCOR 485: Global Policy and Strategy As a project-based course, Global Policy and Strategy requires students to integrate analytical skills by analyzing business opportunities and challenges to make more effective business decisions. Liberal Studies Core The Liberal Studies Core Curriculum is one reflection of Gannon University's commitment to its Catholic identity. The Core's design offers students a defined, integrated, shared experience as the foundation for their undergraduate program.
