EMT drills Our EMT intensive course is preparation for the Washington State EMT-Basic examination and the National Registry EMT exam. The Testing Center at EvCC is a NR-EMT test site. Both exams are offered at the conclusion of the training. This training exceeds the DOT 2006 curriculum. The course includes lectures and hands-on practice of techniques, including Introduction to Emergency Care Bleeding and shock Soft tissue injuries Environmental emergencies Lifting and moving patients HIV/AIDS education Emergency childbirth Courses are offered Monday & Wednesday nights from 6:30 pm to 10 pm & Saturdays from 8:30 am to 5 pm for 11 weeks, 100% attendance is required. Possible Tuesday & Thursday night classes may be necessary if students exceed classroom occupancy for Mon/Wed class. 100% attendance is required.
