The aim of the Bachelor of Arts program is to provide you with a multidisciplinary education that instils knowledge in a range of humanities and social science disciplines. You will explore disciplines that study the way humans recognise, record and debate human practices, meanings and values, and you will develop an understanding of the human condition and of how society operates. You will have the opportunity to gain crucial lifelong learning and transferable skills, such as critical thinking and problem-solving, and will be able to apply these skills to a range of employment opportunities and real life situations. The Bachelor of Arts will also enable students to gain entry into a variety of postgraduate and vocationally-oriented programs such as a Master of Clinical Psychology or Master of Business Administration. A Diploma of Arts is available as an exit or interim award after one year of study. To complete this qualification you will be required to have completed six courses from a particular plan and two courses from any other undergraduate program offered at CQUniversity.
