Course Description

The Engineering Technology programs at Broward College emphasize laboratory and hands-on training. Much of your time in core engineering classes will be spent in state-of-the-art labs which are equipped with: * Bedside monitoring equipment for Biomedical Engineering students * Computers that simulate and test electronic circuitry for Computer Engineering students * Digital multimeters and oscilloscopes, signal generator and function generators for Electrical Engineering students * R-F voltmeters, frequency counters, spectrum analyzers, microwave UHF hardware and more for Telecommunication Engineering students . Engineering courses are carefully developed by industry leaders and the faculty to ensure that your engineering training fits current industry trends. This degree is a planned sequence of instruction consisting of the three specializations; electronics, alternative energy, and biomedical systems with one common core.
