This two year programme is primarily aimed at those who wish to develop art and design skills bringing together drawing, painting, creative fashion & textiles and digital design within a creative art and design context. In the first year, you will work across media areas and in the second year, following negotiation with your tutors, you could specialise in one of the following pathways, for example, Fine Art, Art & Design, Digital Design or Fashion & Textile. Embedded into the ethos of the programme is the inter-relationship between contextual theory and visual practice.

Due to the practical, employment-focused nature of a HND course, many of our graduates head straight into employment in the Arts, having benefitted from our network of expertise and close links with the industry. Alternatively, you could choose to study a Top-Up qualification in a relevant area in order to gain a Full Honours Degree.
