This course provides a grounding in key concepts and practical skills alongside the development of the knowledge and understanding required by employers and professional bodies. The programme is designed to enable you to study Core Modules and appropriate Specialist Modules for disciplines in construction and the built environment sector including: Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying and Architectural Design.

The qualification provides a thorough grounding in key concepts and practical skills to allow direct progression to employment in a construction profession. Alternatively, on completion of a HND learners can progress to the second year or third year of a degree programme. In addition a HND will provide a progression route to the professional qualifications offered by Chartered Institute Of Building,Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
