Our distinct MEng Electrical Engineering builds upon the BEng Electrical Engineering programme with advanced engineering topics, management studies, law and group projects, in which you will tackle wide-ranging engineering challenges. You will also have the opportunity to gain industrial experience through vacation employment. A particular feature of the course is a group project, either working with a real customer from industry or transferring technology from the University into industrial practice, with a chance to exercise both self and team management skills.

Employability is embedded into modules from the first year onwards and right from the first lecture. We explain the degree skills which are being taught throughout the modules and offer a number of optional employability modules. The technical skills you will obtain are in high demand, as are skills of understanding and analysing problems, together with communicating the results.
