The MSc Civil Engineering comprises two semesters of taught classes, followed by a research project carried out during the summer months. Our researchers are working at the cutting edge making a real difference, the MSc Civil Engineering projects are an integral part of our research, so you could find yourself working on a research project at the forefront of engineering science. Our extensive Civil Engineering and advanced computing facilities support our teaching and research activities. As an MSc student you will spend your time putting your theoretical knowledge into practice in our labs. In addition to our conventional MSc Civil Engineering we offer two pathways: MSc Civil Engineering with Industrial Placement - Inclusion of an 11 month funded work placement.
