MSc Banking and Financial Systems in the Global Economy

Course Description

The course will provide you with an understanding of the various components of, and services provided by, institutions within the global financial system. In studying MSc Banking and Financial Systems in the Global Economy you will explore key issues in a global context and develop a detailed understanding of the economic foundations of banking and financial institutions. In addition, you will learn how to apply the theories related to financial systems to real-world situations. The course prepares you for a wide range of roles within public and private sector organisations worldwide, particularly roles in both the traditional banking and investment banking sectors but also in government agencies, central banks and international financial non-governmental organisations (NGOs)
