This course provides you with training to prepare you for a career in cellular and molecular neuroscience. It provides suitable preparation for subsequent PhD studies and for students planning a research career in industry or academia. You will spend the first 11 weeks of the course undertaking core taught modules to gain experience in a wide range of important formulation design and analysis techniques and to prepare you for your 30-week research project. The research projects are offered with specialists in five key research areas: Molecular Neuroscience; Neurodegenerative Disease; Ion Channels and Receptors in Disease; Neuronal Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine; and Neurodynamics and Cognition.
