The Engineering Foundation Certificate is a one-year, full-time course, designed for international students whose first language is not English and whose school-leaving qualifications do not allow immediate admission to undergraduate engineering and computer science degree programmes in Britain. This course is taught in exactly the same way as the H100 course for home and EU students, and all students are taught together. Students who successfully complete the Foundation Programme will be guaranteed progression onto one of a number of BEng/MEng/BSc degrees in the following departments/schools: * Architecture and Built Environment * Chemical and Environmental Engineering * Civil Engineering * Computer Science * Electrical and Electronic Engineering * Mathematical Sciences * Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing Engineering * Physics and Astronomy Progression is subject to you having taken the correct pre-requisite modules and passed to the appropriate level during the Foundation Programme.
