If you want to become an ICAEW Chartered Accountant, this Flying Start Degree Programme could be your fastest way to get there. It's a collaboration between the Business School, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and PwC. It's called the Flying Start Degree Programme because that's what it does: it gives you a flying start towards becoming an ICAEW Chartered Accountant. Paid work placements are embedded within the programme and it is a great way to kick start your career in accountancy. During your first year you will study full time with the Business School, taking 120 credits. During your second, third and fourth years, you will study for one semester with the Business School and the other semester will be spent on paid work placement with PwC. You will study 80 credits of modules during each of these years.
